Description
Mangala Turkish Intelligence and Strategy Game
How to Play:
1. In the game, both players have 6 pits and 1 treasure.
2. At the beginning of the game, the treasury is empty. There are 4 stones in each pit.
3. The player who starts the game takes all the stones from the 6 pits on his side. He leaves one stone back to his own pit.
He distributes the other stones counterclockwise
i.e. to the right, leaving one stone in each pit. When the wells are finished, he leaves a stone into his own treasure.
If the player still has a stone in his hand,
he continues to leave it in the opponent's wells in a counterclockwise direction.
4. If there is a stone in the well that the player wants to distribute, he can transfer this stone to the next well or to his treasure.
5. At each stage of the game, the place where the last stone distributed came from is checked.
6. If the last stone comes to the player's own treasure, the player gets the right to play once more.
This rule is valid every time the last stone comes to the treasury. As long as the player brings their last tile to the treasury, they gain the right to play again.
7. If the last tile lands in an empty well on the player's side and there is an opposing player's tile in the well opposite this well,
the player takes the tiles in both wells
and puts them in their treasury.
8. If the last tile lands in one of the wells in the opposing player's area and makes the number of tiles in this well even (2, 4, 6, 8),
the player takes only the tiles in this well and puts them in their treasury.
9. The game ends when there are no tiles left in the wells in one of the players' area. The player who runs out of pieces first takes the remaining pieces in their opponent's pits and adds them to their treasury.
Game Restrictions:
1. No pieces can be left in the opponent's treasury.
2. In Turkish Mangala, the first dealt piece must be placed in their own pit.
3. If there is only one piece in the pit to be played, this piece is moved to the next pit. It cannot be placed back in the same pit.
Game End:
The game ends when one of the players' pits runs out of pieces. The player who runs out of pieces first takes the remaining pieces in their opponent's pits and adds them to their treasury.
When the game is over, both players count the pieces in their own treasury. The player who has more pieces than the opponent
wins the game.
If both players have equal pieces (24-24), the game ends in a draw.
Box Dimensions: 26 x 26 x 6 cm.
